Our One Day...

of sunshine. 

Cabin fever has been fierce this spring.

The girls and I are dying for some warm, wind-free sunshine.

We had one day of it last week.

 And we took full advantage.

The Mop Chop

While not a super drastic mop chop, my mom cut a considerable length off Ellie's hair. Ellie wanted it as short as mine which is almost shoulder length and being the mean mother I am, I told her no. Partly because I couldn't stand the thought of cutting off all that luscious hair but mostly because I can't be bothered with having to actually do her hair every day. 

Am I lazy or what?

The before:

Her hair was almost down to her bum.

And after:

my mom cut about 3 inches off and it looks so different. I'm willing to bet not many people notice the change but to Rob and I it looks super short.

Rob is not so sure he likes the haircut but Ellie loves it and tells everyone we meet that she got a haircut and she has short hair now. I, on the other hand, can't stand that she is growing up and forming her own preferences and opinions. Life just isn't fair.

And the next dilemma is what to do with Piper's hair. 

It's not curly but it's not straight and she only leaves pigtails in for about an hour if I'm lucky but I don't have the heart to cut it.

Yes, she's in the tub fully clothed. That's what happens when you have an impatient baby who loves the tubby.

Little Tumbler

Love that Ellie loves tumbling.
It helps that her teacher is so positive and encouraging.
She did so great at her first tumbling recital!

The Falls

Shoshone Falls is quite the sight this year!
I'm still learning the settings on my new camera. It was a beautiful day and the girls loved seeing the falls.
