These are so yummy!
Please take note that I am not a food blogger nor am I a photographer so if you would kindly look past the dark, un-artsy pictures of un-styled food, please and just enjoy the fact that now you know how to make your own Italian sodas. Thanks!

You'll need:
ice
club soda
Torani syrup any flavor (fruity ones are the best)
heavy whipping cream
Redi-Whip -optional
sprinkles - optional
So, you start with a tall glass and fill it about 2/3 full of ice.
Add about 1/4 cup Torani syrup - use more or less depending on your preference.

Add about 3/4 cup club soda and stir to combine.
Then add 1-2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream and stir again.
You can stop there and down the whole thing in 3 seconds like I do our you can make it yummy-looking with a shot of Redi-Whip and sprinkles and a straw.
Either way they are to die for.

Other tips:
Adjust the amount of each ingredient to find what you like best.
My new favorite flavor is huckleberry (or hunkleberry as Ellie calls it). Other favorites are strawberry, blackberry, vanilla, and peach.
These are so fun to make for bridal showers, baby showers, Relief Society Meetings (or whatever they are called now) I think they are a definite step up from the usual fruity punch.
Shop around for the Torani syrups. Some places have the small bottles for about $5 but my mother-in-law found the big bottles for the same price.

Brandon is super interested. Where did you find the syrup at? What aisle? What stores?
Brittany - you can find the syrup at almost any grocery store in the coffee aisle but I've noticed most stores carry only the ones that go well in coffee like amaretto, hazlenut, vanilla, etc. but sometimes they will have strawberry or raspberry. Next time you come to Burley you need to go to Stokes because they have tons of good flavors.
So I couldn't get these out of my mind all week. Last night I finally buckled and bought the stuff we didn't yet have (which was everything but the syrup ... we can't live without that stuff). So tomorrow, when Ben takes his last final of the semester, we're celebrating with Italian Sodas. THANKS for the great reminder of how awesome these are.
making them tonight!!! yay!!!
Monica-I am so making these the next time I have the treat for FHE, or sooner. Thanks for sharing!
The next time you come to Boise I'm taking you to the restaurant supply store where you can get any flavor of syrup for super cheap. My treat to you...cheap secrets.
