Wahoo! Ellie graduated kindergarten! We are so proud of her. She totally rocked the reading program and worked really hard to achieve several goals. Her teacher started her on the AR program in January and the school has several rewards as kids earn a certain number of points. So in order to reach her goals she started bringing home two and three books a day, reading them that night and testing on them the next day. The books at her level were usually worth 1/2 a point each and she earned over 50 points. Some of her rewards included a principal's walk, principal's breakfast, principal's lunch, and a medal. She was one of two kids who were awarded medals at graduation. I wish I could have gotten better pictures but there were a zillion people crammed into the school gym.
