Can I just brag a little bit here?
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I have the most amazing relatives ever. I'm seriously so lucky. My relatives on both sides of my family and also both sides of Rob's family are so awesome. This time I get to brag about my Dad's side of the family. My grandma needed a new roof so what did we do? Had a big ol' roofing party! Whoever could come, came and pitched in wherever they could. We tore off shake shingles, put on new sheeting and felt, fed the crew, kept all the kids happy for two days straight, and had a great time catching up with family we hadn't seen in way too long. We've still got to put on the shingles but some serious progress was made in 48 hours. My girls had so much fun with my cousins' kids. All I've got to say is my grandparents raised an awesome family.
