The tradition continues as we gather in Island Park for a summer vacation. The July 4th weekend weather was perfect, the company was even better, and the food was delicious. The mosquitoes were in full force all weekend but other than that we had a great time. We played in the reservoir and Rob took the girls fishing and they had lots of fun despite not catching anything. Piper was just happy to throw rocks in the water and sit at the campsite filling her clothes with dirt.
We headed home a day earlier than everyone so Rob could leave at 3am the next morning for a week long whitewater trip with the scouts. It's a good thing we came home early because at midnight that night Piper got sick and threw up every 15-30 minutes for the next 18 hours. Poor baby :( I can't tell you how grateful I was not to be camping with a sick sick baby.
