Aside from the fact that I've been a terribly lazy blogger this summer, here is my latest excuse:
We finally closed on our house last week and we are in the middle of the remodel. It's so exciting and a little overwhelming but it's going to be so much better when it's done. I can't wait to show you official before and after pictures. I am super excited about the kitchen cabinets. My dad has spent his days off this week helping me trim the doors. He rocks. I've spent my time cleaning, de-glossing, priming, and sanding cabinets. I'm hoping they will turn out like the picture I have in my head. I'm also really happy to not have purple walls anymore and to be rid of the purple and pink flowered carpet in the dining room and the cat wall paper in the girls' bedroom. :)

oh man, I just feel tired looking at the pictures and thinking of all the effort it takes to remodel and move. Congratulations on your home and I'm sending you energy vibes so you can keep going.

These pictures are reminding me so much of my life right now. my mom and dad just bought a house. It needs so much help, we have been working on it for weeks. But yes, it is worth it! It will be amazing, can't wait for the before and afters!
SO EXCITING, and SO DAUNTING! Details please! Cabinets are so much work. I finally got the desire to do the cabinets in our bathroom almost a year after we did our kitchen. I had to recover a bit. I'm in the middle of it right now. Can't wait to see the pics. I am excited to see the flower carpet and cat wallpaper. Sounds HORRIFIC! Miss you Max
