Busy Busy

Since we are working on the house all day long six days a week, I've had a lot of people ask me what I do with my kids while we're there. Aside from a few times I've asked my parents, in-laws, or brother's family to watch them, they are with me all the time. They have been surprisingly good and have found some fun things to keep their boredom at bay. They play outside a lot exploring our new back yard, playing on the swing set, picking strawberries, raspberries & flowers. Rob also made a fort for them out of a washing machine box and they have spent countless hours 'remodeling' their house. They have helped me paint walls, sweep floors, wash walls, and pull staples and nails out of the floor. We also have a movie room set up for when they are tired or bored. Lately they have taken to teaching school to each other and any visiting cousins as we have a love seat sitting on out back patio airing out and a big sheet of plywood left over from the demo that serves very well as a blackboard. I am amazed at how well they amuse themselves day in and day out. They are awesome kids!

They are so cute. And they really are good girls! Piper is adorable, Naomi has crazy red hair too. But more like a mullet :) I think her and Piper would get along dandy. I love the wood floor they are coloring on, looks good! We just made a fort for my girls while remodeling at my parents out of a stove and dishwasher box. Endless hours of fun!
